The Scottish Government’s long awaited Digital Health and Care Strategy was published at the end of April 2018. This national strategy contains clear recommendations for the development of digital health and care going forward and sets timelines for achieving this. Making the best use of technology is also one of the ten priority areas of focus in the Dumfries and Galloway Integration Board Joint Strategic Plan.

In response to the publication of the national strategy, Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership are developing a local Digital Health and Care strategy and implementation plan. As part of this process they are keen to hear what people who work in Health and Care services in Dumfries and Galloway feel is important to them around the priority areas of work that the national strategy promotes.
