Job Description

  • Support individuals to apply online for Universal Credit benefits
  • Support individuals in maintaining their commitments to DWP both online and off.
  • Deliver one to one support sessions on benefits advice
  • Raise awareness around welfare reform and its commitments to service user’s both within and out with Kate’s Kitchen through group work
  • Comply with all health and safety legislation and organisational policies
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self, other members of staff, service users and other persons
  • Comply with Kate’s Kitchen lone working policy and procedures


Essential Criteria

  • Excellent knowledge of Welfare Reform and Universal Credit Online Applications
  • Excellent knowledge of Job Centre commitments
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Car Driver
  • Sense of Humour


Desirable Criteria

Experience of working in the Third Sector

Experience in working with volunteers
