Ride Scotland’s Horse Country

The Southern Uplands Partnership is seeking an experienced project-coordinator to develop equestrian tourism in the Scottish Borders.  £26k/year plus 8% pension contribution for two years.
The postholder will work with a range of local land managers, businesses and groups to develop the market for visitors to holiday in the area with their horses.  The successful applicant will have experience of working with a range of stakeholders, promoting cooperation and creating new packages and products.  The project has funding from Scottish Borders LEADER programme, Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Borders Council, British Horse Society, Buccleuch Estates Ltd, Future Hawick, Energise Galashiels and Forestry Commission Scotland.
